Focus on What Matters

Take Back Your Time and Attention

Have you ever ended a day, week, month, or even year and wondered "where did the time go?"
Is your time and effort directed by other people's agendas instead of your own?

You're not alone in feeling this way, in a time of great distraction and everything everyday pulling for your attention - the ability to focus and get things done is basically a superpower.

This is why the Analog Academy exists. We are a group of people who choose to focus on what matters in life instead of what's popular or easy. Instead of giving our precious time and energy to apps and algorithms, we choose to spend time on the work, people, and projects that give us the most satisfaction.

What Members Are Saying

Life is crazy with four kids, and remote work as a full-time freelancer is just as challenging. Earlier this year I was feeling overwhelmed by a mountain of tasks and lost amidst endless distractions.
Analog Academy helped me regain control of my life and work, and gave me the tools to focus on what I decide is most important.

KC Procter "Helpful Hoodie"

Before I joined Analog Academy I was feeling overwhelmed by all the things I could do then getting frustrated because I wasn't making progress on anything!
Matt helped me create clarity in how my big-picture goals aligned with daily tasks and systems. Learning how to design my environment to support and not hinder my goals was a game-changer!

Emma Cragg

Analog Academy gave me a systematic approach to growing and cultivating productivity, something I've struggled with for a very long time. I thought systems would stifle my creativity - but I found the opposite to be true!  The more I worked on systems the more creative I became and I was actually able to finish projects.

Membership Options

Patron - $47/year

  • Private newsletter
  • Member vlogs
  • YouTube transcriptions
  • Discounts to courses
  • Monthly giveaways (books, journals, and more)
  • Softcover Notebook
Patron will include a members-only newsletter packed with the best content I can find. If you've liked the Monthly Bullets email in February and March, it will be like that but even more consistent and richer.

You'll also have access to early-edition vlogs and videos that I'll only post in the members area. For example in the past month someone asked me how I treat collections in my bullet journal. Another asked how I balance digital apps and analog practice. Both of these are great opportunities for me to create a helpful video just for the community.

Journalist - $97/year

  • All Patron level perks
  • Productivity Essentials Courses
    • Time Tracking
    • Journaling
    • Morning Routine (coming soon)
  • Monthly Livestream & Podcast
  • Confidant Notebook
Journalists will have more access to live content and my essentials courses. So far this includes Time Tracking and Journaling, but I'll be adding a course on Morning Routines by the end of the year. All of these courses will sell for $47 each once completed, and Journalist members will have them included at no extra cost.

Journalist members will also have access to the monthly livestream. While I had a lot of fun hosting the Books live show, the numbers and webcam quality don't make sense for the YouTube channel. But I know it's fun for me and helpful for you in the right context - which is the membership!

Do more of what matters to you

I don't want another day, week, month, or year going by without you being able to focus on the things you care about.

I don't want you to feel like you don't have any control over your time. I don't want you to awake in a panic, rushing through your morning and reacting to everyone else's agenda.

Progress takes time, there's no changing that. But being a part of a community with a clear purpose and focus can significantly reduce the time and friction of your progress.

FAQs

Why are you starting with annual memberships?

I've seen monthly communities spring up then wither away after a few months. I don't want that for us. By starting with annual we're binding ourselves together for a shared purpose. We know both parties are in it for the long haul.

Here's the other, more tangible benefit. As a founding member, your annual cost will be much much lower than anyone else's ever will be. You're getting in early. I'll be upfront in saying I will offer monthly memberships eventually. But it will be about 40% more than what a founding member annual price is.

How does this membership support your work?

With the growth of my YouTube channel I've taken on extra costs to improve the quality of content I deliver to you. Running the show costs between $150-200/month and I have additional ways I'd like to level up this year (auto-focus camera anyone?) - your support as a Founding Member makes this possible!

Why not create a Patreon instead?

Most YouTubers follow the Patreon model, which is a few bucks a month to support the creator's work. I think that's great for the creator, but I still believe it's a relatively lopsided transaction.

There are many people I love to follow and financially support. The common thread with each person is they find ways to help make my life better. Each creator gives me new ways of thinking, methods to test and experiment with, and most important they're able to help guide me along the path of life.

I want this to be a partnership between us. Member support empowers me to do a lot for you, and that's what I want to deliver. More access, more resources, and less noise in your day-to-day.

I also believe in the value you can all share with each other. This option gives me an opportunity to connect each of you with each other for support and accountability.

What's your refund policy?

If you have buyer's remorse in the first 14 days, email me and we'll chat about it. I would like to hear what your goals are and how the community can help you achieve them!

Still have questions about the Analog Academy?

If you've made it this far you may still have questions - that's totally understandable. Email me directly and we'll talk about anything you want. We'd lose to have you join us on the path.
